USD Account for a UK Ltd Company
If a significant part of the invoices is issued in USD, a separate account for American payments can be more convenient than constant conversion through EUR or GBP. The UK Ltd remains the same company and continues to enter into contracts in its own name.
Such an account is usually considered as a second account: the primary European account handles EUR/SEPA, while the USD account handles American buyers, suppliers and dollar transfers.
For a request, prepare the UK Ltd documents, business information, payment countries and expected amounts. For a vintage company, certified Companies House documents can also be ordered.
If the company works with both Europe and the United States, divide EUR and USD payments between two accounts.
