Notary or Solicitor
A Solicitor can certify a copy of a document, a signature or a set of company documents. A Notary Public is used when the recipient requires a notarial format. For official information about the UK Ltd itself, it is often more convenient to order a certified copy or Good Standing directly through Companies House.
If the document will be presented abroad, an Apostille can be arranged after certification. One package then includes the official UK Ltd document, certification and confirmation for use in another country.
For a bank account, the Certificate of Incorporation, Articles, director and shareholder details are usually prepared and, where required, Good Standing and Apostille. For a vintage company, Good Standing is particularly useful to confirm the original incorporation date and continued existence of the company.
The entire package can be ordered at the same time as buying a ready-made UK Ltd so that the documents do not have to be prepared separately after the transfer.
