If you only need to see company data, the online Companies House record is sufficient. If the recipient needs an official certified document, a certified copy or company certificate is ordered. A certificate can include a number of certified facts about the UK Ltd.
Good Standing is particularly useful for ready-made and vintage companies: it confirms the continuous existence of the company from the incorporation date and the absence of a current strike-off procedure.

Documents for a Foreign Bank or Registry
